International Workshop on Electronic Commerce, Agents, and Semantic Web Services

With current evolving technologies, there are significant strides in technologies that support distributed system automation in the electronic commerce domain. The autonomy and intelligence of software agents have greatly enhanced technologies that promote automation and enactment in the electronic commerce domain. Moreover, with the addition of scaleable service-oriented computing practices, new electronic commerce systems and architectures will span across multiple physical domains. Service-oriented technologies, such as Web Service Technology (manifested through SOAP, WSDL and UDDI), Semantic Web Technology (manifested through ontology-based modeling framework such as RDF, RDFS, DAML+OIL and OWL), Enterprise Integration (manifested through Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and E-Commerce in form of Business-to-Business (B2B) Integration as well as Business-to Consumer (B2C)) will create the next generation of Internet-based systems.
